Currently boots are the worst piece of armou. However, they have a lot of potential. Here are some possible improvements. First, boots should protect you when walking on blocks like magma blocks and cactus. this makes a lot more sense because the boots are on your feet protecting you from the spikes on a cactus or the heat on a magma block. Second, if we had better boots the crafting recipe might be a little more expensive. It would make sense if the recipe required one string. Then you would have boots that tie on instead of slip on boots.
