Consistent stone button and pressure plate types

We have blackstone and regular stone pressure plates and buttons. However there is also grimstone, sandstone and red sandstone. Why do these blocktypes not get pressure plate and button variants?

I think this is just inconsistent and that it should have no reason not to be a thing. After all, all the wood types have their variants for all of their blocks, doors, buttons, etc. (except bookshelves, for some reason?)

So why not do the same for stone types too?
