I think, instead of removing them outright, Mojang should change the texture so they are more pleasant to look at. For instance, diorite is an eyesore and is never really used in a build, so if you were to change the texture so it doesn't resemble literal bird poop, maybe they would be used more.
I know that Mojang does not want to remove them because they help diversify the caves, and I agree, these blocks help make caves look more interesting. But, Mojang, I'm begging you to consider changing them so they blend in a little more, and help my eyes.

I see what you're thinking, but i disagree with changing the texture of andesite and diorite. as I'm sure you already know, these are real-life rocks.
granite could be changed, as there are so many different types of granite, but diorite and andesite shouldn't.
If you look up Diorite pictures, you'll find that IRL, diorite looks almost exactly the same as its minecraft texture!
If anything, add more black. It would make it look less like poo.
