When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

As I understand it, Java redstone is the definitive redstone system. Last I heard, Bedrock redstone is inconsistent, making it difficult to work with, despite not having some of the same glitches.

They'd also probably have to add a lot of new stuff just to bring back the potential they'd lose by removing all these quirks. Flying machines aren't even possible in Bedrock.

No, you just have to get both versions to get all the features. I have experimented with the “bugs”, and they can make sense! Think of it this way: on 1 tick pulses sticky pistons spit out their blocks because the speed of the pulse causes the slime to temporarily deform, thus not being able to retract the block.

I don't know what you mean by redstone going "through transparent blocks". It doesn't, but whatever.

As for BUD powering, it wasn't removed, because the community spoke up and pointed out that BUD powering makes things possible that wouldn't otherwise be possible. The system makes sense if you care to learn it, but if you don't redstone will still work fine for you. Removing it now would be going backwards in redstone capability for literally no benefit.
