Archeology has great potential for MC, but it has to be done right. Instead of just lore in pottery, I have a cool extra idea for it. Sometimes, you should be able to find archeology items, like shards or written books, that hints to a future MC update, whether a small feature, or a big update. These would not be named clearly at first, so you have to figure it out for yourself, (of course when the update comes out it can display its proper name) & the hints wouldn't be obvious, but more clues, like for a book, it could be a description vaguely hinting a feature (maybe even while also hinting at possible lore), or words needing to fill the blanks for, & for pottery shards, they could be hinting to a very vague idea, & finding 1 wouldn't lead to a feature conclusion. You would have to find as many as you can. And you wouldn’t even be able to get these in worlds with creative or cheats on before. This promotes exploration even more because the developers have the opportunity to tease features that require you to play MC right now & search for clues, instead of waiting all the time. Every1 wants to know upcoming updates, & this would be a very fun mystery for many people. This would also give more incentive to play pure survival. Even if Youtube channels make videos sharing all the secrets, it would still be great for content creators, & would bring more views to MC too. People love trying to find music discs, so why not this?
