There is a complaint from the speed-running community that bartering is too luck-based, now I don't think this calls for a bartering overhaul but I do think it can be changed without interfering too much with the current bartering system. My idea is that the more gold armor the player is wearing the more likely the player will receive ender pearls and other higher rarity items, such as fire resistance potions, and enchantment books (This would obviously only work when the player right-clicks or directly presses the barter button). This idea would be beneficial as not only would this add more reason to use gold armor, but it would also keep the amount of gold needed to be collected relatively similar while lowering the chances of repeatedly getting less valuable items like iron nuggets or soul sand which can cause frustration. I don't think this change is necessary but I do believe having it as an option for the people who play the game in this way is a good decision.
