Stone variants update (crafting)

Blackstone and deepslate can both replace cobblestone in crafting recipes (such as furnaces, stone tools and brewing stands). Other stone types (like diorite, andesite, granite, tuff and, maybe, dripstone) could use this too. 

This would make sense, and diorite and the others wouldn't clutter as badly since they would be (nearly) identical to cobble in terms of uses.

  I agree!  They made every variety of wooden fences, signs, and doors, that should be expanded to stone things too!  You could give furnaces all kinds of styles based on the stone it was made of, even terracotta variants would be an excellent idea.  Pistons might be a bit cluttered if you made them take the wood and the stone into account, so you should pick one and stick with it for those.  Maybe pick related woods.  Like a Basalt piston would be have the crimson fungus, and the sticky piston could have the warped.  Basically, you've given us a lot of stones and then told us we couldn't make anything out of them.  This is all texture work and crafting recipes, this should take a few days at best.  Wouldn't even warrant a full update.
