Eco Physics

This new feature would introduce sound physics to Minecraft, witch can be adjusted in the options menu.

This would allow footsteps, entity sounds, block sounds, etc to cause an echo depending on the surrounding area. This would be neat if it had a connection with the new cave vibrations in 1.17!

In large and open areas, sound would be more spread out. But in smaller more enclosed areas, ecos would be less intense.

    I came here to make a suggestion for making (some) sounds delay reaching the player, and then saw this suggestion. I'm not sure if they could manage the effect you have in mind (it would be like raytracing, but for sound instead of light, I think), but if they managed it, it would be really nice for ambience.
