Ruby and its functions

Ruby ore would only appear in hot biomes like desert or savannah.

It would serve as a new type of in-game currency that is interchangeable with emeralds. Rubies would be more valuable to villagers outside of the hot biomes, so one ruby ​​would be worth as much as two emeralds (for example, a diamond hoe costing 4 emeralds in a taiga may cost 2 rubies or 1 ruby ​​and 2 emeralds). For villagers living in hot biomes, emeralds would be more valuable, so one emerald would be the same as two rubies.

In addition to trading, they could be used to make a ruby ​​block, which could be used to power a beacon.

By combining one ruby ​​and two blaze rods you can create a ruby ​​staff that acts as a bow for fiery charges.
