Copper block items and stairs

It bothers me so much how you need 4 ingots to craft a copper block, but 9 to craft the others (I can tolerate quartz because it doesn't serve as an ore in the same way and is a bit difficult to get ahold of), because my inventory is cluttered up with copper blocks, but if it had followed the same rule as the other ores, I'd have half as many blocks to worry about.
I know this was changed because people thought copper stairs were expensive af to make, well how about we finally correct the stair crafting recipe aswell? 3 blocks in an L makes 4 pieces of stairs, no volume lost to the void.

  Maybe also increase how much quartz spawns, and use 9 ingots for *all* blocks, because I love the 9x9x9 system we got with nuggets, ingots and blocks, and honestly, copper is so common we need a more efficient way of compacting it, decreasing quartz's rarity slightly and doing the same (also allow craft back to 9 quartz, because you may want the items for components?) idk this whole idea is pretty much fueled by my OCD.

  They should make it so that cut copper is crafted with 4 ingots, but the block is crafted with 9 ingots. That would make the most sense, since cut copper is more like bricks than a ressource block. Would make it a lot easier to store copper ingots, too
