more glowsquid functionality

i like the current uses but those are mostly cosmetic in nature, im not saying take this idea, but what if the glowsquids functioned kind of like beacons, where in everyone within a small radius of the creature gained night vision, yet got blindness when attempting to attack it. obviously thats just a rather scuffed out idea but i personally would like something more to come out of this years mob vote winner

What if this was a different kind of blindness, perhaps it would cause you to see only very bright things such as torches, or objects illuminated by daylight.
