Suggestion to the Caves Update: Mineshafts/Collapsed Tunnels

So basically, we already have the wooden mineshafts that have been in the game for ages, and while I am vaguely aware of the visual changes being made to the current mineshafts, I think it would be really neat if there would be random tunnels to be found deeper down, and the suggestions of a similar structure to the mineshaft, although maybe only being a single tunnel or two.

Basically, imagine the mineshaft but with an occasional block littering the floor and hints that the original mineshaft no longer exists in an accessible manner. While it would be nice to see a skeleton head within this area, I believe the general idea of skeleton remains lying around has been rejected by Mojang in 2018. 

Basically, this is a nice little area to stumble upon with access to one or two veins of ore, perhaps a minecart chest, as well as signs of abandonment and decay (spider webs, the chest contains cobble from trying to dig out, stuff like that).  While I do suppose the implications are pretty dark, hopefully this is something we may be able to see in the future.
