    Maybe honey should make sicky pistons and slime should make bouncy pistons?

    I personally think just being able to dye sticky pistons should be a thing. Same with slime, redstone, lamps, and maybe repeaters?

    I think that honey pistons will bridge a huge redstone parity gap between Bedrock and Java while leaving existing contraptions intact and functional and adding a peaceful method to get pistons that stick. Honey pistons would be crafted with a piston and a honey bottle (gives the bottle back, of course). In Java, honey pistons would function like Bedrock edition pistons (always retracting the block (even with one tick pulse), and not activating due to quasiconnectivity). In Bedrock, the roles would be reversed (sticky pistons are unchanged (no quasiconnectivity, no one-tick behavior), honey pistons function like Java pistons). Adding honey pistons would allow Bedrock players to build bidirectional flying machines, which would open up a lot more possibility (huge doors, bigger and more efficient farms, and more), while adding them to Java would allow players to build more compact and faster contraptions since they will not have to worry about quasiconnectivity working where it shouldn't and being able to extend and retract pistons with a one tick pulse.
