Using Copper for Dowsing rod

You could use copper to make dowsing rod, which could be used to find ores and biomes without help from tools outside the game. To find things, you put a particular item (one for each searchable location, like grass for grassland etc.) in the crafting table with the dowsing rod. You keep both, but the rod now knows what to point towards. While you hold the dowsing rod in your hand it points to the nearest searchable area.
