Subtitles across all platforms

Subtitles in minecraft should be available across any platform! Not just Java, why limit accessibility like this? Especially something so common?

    There's no subtitle in Bedrock? That's terrible, subtitles should be standard.

    I saw that they've been adding more accessibility features, it would be perfect if they could at least add subtitles.

    Recently switched from java to bedrock, and I'm incredibly disappointed in the lack of captions/subtitles.  I know it probably isn't ADA required, but I wish they would recognize this issue.

    I cannot move to non Java editions of minecraft for exactly this reason- subtitles are vital to my ability to play and enjoy the game!

    4 years later and subtitles have still yet to be added to bedrock... I recently started playing bedrock again after a few years, I have sensitive ears so I usually turn the sounds down but turn on subtitles so I can play my favorite game while also not overwhelming myself. I mainly play Java but I started out on mcpe at the age of 11 and I fell in love with it. I was happy to see that when I first got java Minecraft that it had them and I thought bedrock would also have it too and it was just added since I last played on mcpe. But I was wrong, it doesn't. I thought maybe it would come soon, so I waited; and waited, and waited and waited some more but still nothing nor any update on adding them or a reason as to why they can't.
