New weapons

Minecraft as had great but small choice for weapons. I would like to see new weapons such as spears, hammers, battle axes, daggers, and long swords. Each weapon would have it pros and cons but adding things like these would greatly benefit Minecraft’s fighting experience. Of course all these weapons would have there variants like wooden, stone, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. In conclusion these weapons would add another layer to the game having players make certain choices as to which weapon they want to use instead of getting a sword immediately they would really have to think about whether they want a long sword or a hammer.
