Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Gauge Block

The Gauge is a block with a graphic dial or with variable light levels. Can be attached to another block in the same way as the Hopper block. If the attached block is emitting a redstone signal, the Gauge will change its graphic to show the signal power, enabling a fast and compact way to control chest, dropper and cart contents, furnace progress and so on.
