minecraft combat

I have heard that the people working on minecraft have had a problem with choosing if to have the old combat or the new combat on all platforms. My solution to this problem is to give the choise to choose if they want the old combat or the new combat on every world on the gamerule tab or if you tipe /gamerule you can choose to have the old combat or the new. This will probably make every player happy because they get what they want.
