Surface of the overworld is too "Broken up".

The new caves are amazing, but I think the number of caves that generate needs to be turned down slightly. This is extremely apparent in the plains biome, it looks like a bombed-out battlefield more than a calm flat piece of land.

  I agree, the cave generation needs work. The plains make this cave generation issue the most evident - perhaps they could fix the generation rate on that specific biome?
