If you got an empty glass bottle and right clicked on a wardens chest you would obtain a potion of souls. If you threw the potion it would hurt anything nearby including the player giving them the possession effect. To protect yourself from this effect you would need to brew a soul resistance potion. Which would be created by using an awkward potion and a new block called skulk weeds. Skulk weeds would grow on top of skulk blocks and would need to be destroyed with shears to be able to obtain them.
