Redstone Ore turning randomly On/Off

Since the new caves will have lightning issues, redstone Ore could be changed to randomly turn on and off (at a somewhat slow rate so it doesnt appear as blinking). This will A) Light up Caves. B) Show you where the Redstone Ore is and C) Show you nearby Ore. This way an already exisiting element can be reused to solve a problem of the larger caves.

  If this is Redstone randomly lighting up, then yes, this is a great idea. If this is Redstone randomly sending out a Redstone pulse, then it actually might be more useful. There are ways to make a Redstone circuit give a random output but they are not easy, and having a dedicated block for randomness in Redstone would be exceptionally useful.
