Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bright Stone (Glowstone Variant)

A block formed from merging Glowstone Dust and Diamond, would be a brightly glowing white/gold and while as bright as Glowstone, would spread it's light over a wider area.

If clumped together or introduced to a redstone signal or such, would glow even brighter, and cause burning damage to any living thing in it's light radius, the same way sunlight deals damage to zombies.
