Minacraft maps are either almost infinite or limited by barriers
But we can have finite map without barriers by having a torroidal topology. Like a donut shape (Because with a (x y z) grid, you cannot have a spherical word)
When you go east you would come back from where you started by west and same thing for north-south. I do not think about having a visible curve in the landscape, just the topology like in the old game 'Asteroids'.
This would be nice to have a world generation option allowing to generate a finite torroidal/donutish world, ( + the option to set its size (North-south and east-west)
A finite world can be much more motivating to be explored
Very small torroidal worlds can be fun for some multiplayer games!
