Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Player gets rewarded for using more expensive beacon materials

Beacons are nice but I feel like the player should be rewarded for using more expensive materials. Right now there is no point in getting a full Diamond or even Netherite Beacon but there should be let me explain.

Iron: Does the same thing beacons do now

Gold: Increases fortune and looting

Emerald: Extended radius, and big trading discounts

Diamond: Bigger radius than emerald, increases the attack damage of weapons and protection on armor

Netherite: Infinite radius, does all of the above and unlocks a new beacon effect that you have to pay Netherite Ingots for called Flight which gives you the ability to fly just like in creative mode

Each beacon has there own bonus that other beacons don't have except for Netherite which has all effects plus flight. I don't think Mojang would add flight but who knows. Gold will be good for mining, Emerald will be good for trading, Diamond will be good for raids and clearing out monuments and mansions, and Netherite turns you into a god.

I hope Mojang sees this and considers adding this into their game :).

    I like the idea overall. It would create incentive for diverse beacons. Although infinite gives me pause, since the world is very very big. Now, maybe the best benefit could instead be to keep the chunk loaded even if a player is not present (matching up with one of my ideas) which would then have the side effect of being seen from further away since it's chunk will stay loaded, but would have the much bigger benefit of allowing for bigger redstone machines and grinders and such.
