Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Iron Shields

As you all know Minecraft is a great game with many great elements involved, but one of those elements has almost no love. You know what I'm talking about, the shield. I would not have a problem with shields if they did not break so easily and be able to be stunned by an axe. That is why I am proposing iron shields. I don't even care about diamonds. I just want a shield that is less likely to break and is not able to be stunned by an axe. This would make way for more powerful defense to combat the Warden and other mobs added in the future. So? Are you going to let this idea be unheard? No it will not. Vote so Mojang sees this and knows that we the community wants this!

    How would it be crafted? Shields right now already are crafted with iron.

    This idea sounds great, but what if all shields have a trade off, like the regular shield is light and quick, but has low durability and can be stunned, and the iron shield would be durable and not able to be stunned by normal attacks, but it would also be slow and cumbersome, and will make noise, alerting mobs like the warden to your position.
