    Unfortunately this would render shulkers obsolete. I like the backpack idea but maybe limit it to a hatbar worth of items

    This is a good idea all though you can use skulker boxes. But I guess if you were in survival it could be a lot more obtainable than a skulker box.

    The backpack can be placed in a armor slot. I love this idea.
