Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glow ink tipped arrows (Shootable Torch Arrows)

Glow Ink Sacs can be crafted with arrows to make special arrows that can be shot from bows or crossbows and they place a new block that looks like a mix between a torch and an arrow where they land

It would be used to light the big caves in the new cave update easier without having to make lots of pillars everywhere.

It wouldn't be a mobile light source of course, it only places the new torch block where it landed.

Would be a great way to make people farm Glow Squids and to add more uses to the Glow Ink Sac in general.

If an arrow hits a mob, they receive damage like it was a normal arrow.

    Maybe change the name first but this would make glow squids way more useful for people on single player
