Make water caves rarer

I think the new caves look great, but water caves sometimes ruin the effect. They generate almost everywhere, and really take up a lot of space. I think they should be made rarer, as currently it feels like they spawn everywhere. (They also have this weird thing of blocking other caves, like you can be exploring a cave and a giant lump sticks out the side and boom it is a water cave)

  i agree and make it so that caves on the surface do not spawn as frequently with water, because when i tried the new snapshot, i found it difficult to find any surface caves that wasn't filled with water

  I agree, I feel like a majority of the caves we find should be dry, and some of the water caves are just really REALLY huge, it's a bit overwhelming. I like them but think they should be more rare so that they're more interesting when found.

  It also kind of bothers me how many of the surface ponds/lakes/oceans lead into the water caves, I feel like a majority of them should just be shallow ponds that don't lead super deep (maybe a personal preference but I feel it takes away from the og minecraft experience) also I feel like the overworld is full of way too many ponds now. I know this is our first generation snapshot but I thought it might be important to highlight these things.

  Still love the cave update so much tho! Great work as always Mojang!
