With the new grimstone layer added to the game, most of the community sees grimstone as compressed stone. So, the pressure in that area would be very high, right? So I was thinking instead of having just a different coloured stone, we could introduce a pressure system. This would be a "gear check" in a way, as the resources in the bottom layers are really abundant and there needs to be a challenge to get them. The system is the deeper you go, you start taking damage and your vision gets obstructed, like the blindness effect. This would give a better use to the glow squid, night vision and the warden, by making the glow ink sacs able to craft with a spyglass for the ability to see in those caves, or being able to brew to make night vision potions, which would also allow you to see in those caves. Supposedly, the warden would live in or just above the grimstone layers, so it would have adapted to the pressure, right? That's why I was thinking that the warden could drop some scales, plates or bones that we could craft into armour, or even better, upgrade diamond gear into another type of armour, which would give the smithing table more usage. This is a rough idea but I hope you get the gist of what I am trying to say. Thanks for reading!
