I love 21w07a's new Grimstone block! It is visually pleasing and is a really nice touch to going underground so far. (The "geometric effect" and straight lines on the texture are neat, I think.)
That aside, a few of the ores encased in Grimstone (not the ones encased in Stone, those being the standard ore blocks that can be found in the upper regions of the world) are not easy to decipher as they currently stand. For myself being a colorblind individual, it's very, very hard to see the Redstone ore inside the Grimstone. The red and the black hues mesh very well for me and I almost can't pick it out. The Lapis Lazuli ore has a similar effect, but is nowhere near the difficulty of spotting the Redstone.
Note that this ore texture has not been implemented yet (this was posted in 21w07a), however Henrik Kniberg tweeted a mockup of what these ores will likely look like, which is what this feedback is based on. I hope this is considered before the release of 1.17 and the ore coloring is changed so that it is more easily contrasted from the black of the Grimstone.
