Grimstone Texture

Grimstone is a cool concept, a new type of stone that generates as you go deeper! However, the texture is a little rough.

Firstly, it's way too dark. Going from a clean light gray stone to a heavy dark brick is very noticable, and it doesn't look right. Second, the shape and texture looks too manmade, and doesn't look natural compared to stone. Smoothing it out a tad bit should work, or maybe just brightening it up would make it look nicer.

  I love the block concept , but I dislike the grimstone texture, i think it could be more afraid, i want a block in order to be scary when i see, and i dont feel that with grimstone texture right now, but i believe in minecraft artist.
