Grimstone Ores

In 1.17 Caving Is More Dangerous, Because Of This, Grimstone Ores Should Have A Bigger Fortune Range Then Normal Ores. After All Its A New Block, Why Not Give It A Purpose To Be A New Block?

    I really love that idea, but considering the fact that the ores below y=0 spawn MUCH more frequently as it is, I think that it's possible that that might unbalance the game (just increasing your ore loot exponentially at that point).

    Diamond and Redstone already spawn in much higher quantities below y=0, or at least that is the current plan. Having higher Fortune yields would be redundant and overpowered, since there are already higher quantities of the ores to reward you for taking the risk and mining effort, since Grimstone is slower to mine, and you will likely come accross the Deep Dark and the Warden below y=0. The "Grimstone ores" will exist so that the ores fit the Grimstone around them, they're not really new ores.

    I disagree, I think the only reason you should mine down that low is for the really high diamond rate. The reward is already high enough

    You should also get double resources and experience from smelting ores embedded in grimstone. This would make exploring the depths more rewarding.
