The new gold texture looks kinda weird

The new gold texture for snapshot 21w07a looks oddly similar to the nether gold ore texture, I took a look at both of the textures and it seems that the ore part of the texture looks exactly the same as the nether gold texture. Maybe in the next snapshot, it could be tweaked so it doesn’t look too much like the nether gold texture? Thanks!

    I agree. The nether gold ore was unique with its design. Now it doesn't feel that special.

    It’s fine that it looks like the nether gold but it shouldn’t be too orangey red

    The new gold ore texture is actually the exact same one as on the nether gold ore. I'm totally fine with it, as it makes sense they'd look the same, as they are the same metal.

     I think they should make the texture with the original gold colors, like slightly lighter
