Diamonds are too easy in Snapshot

Title says it all; diamonds are far too easy to collect now in the latest snapshop featuring the new cave generation.

I was able to find a stack and a half's worth of diamonds with a looting 2 pickaxe in less than 10 minutes, just running around underground.

I think a solution would be to move diamonds from y 11 to y -11, so we still have more room to find them, but not as much as we do right now. Also, diamond spawning rates could be tweaked accordingly to make them harder to find.

The current rate you can collect diamonds makes the game way, wayyy too easy. You can spawn in, chop down a tree, and dive into a flooded cave, and swim to diamond level all in your first 3 minutes of a brand new world. It ruins the excitement you get when you do find diamonds, and now they have no more value than iron ore.

  I'm sure it will be dangerous mining diamonds below y 0 in the future, nevertheless I still agree. Its just too easy.

  How did you get a Looting II pickaxe.
