Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

dyeable sand

I think dyeable sand would look pretty neat. It would allow for colorful beaches. And it's pretty simple.#

surrounding a dye with 8 sand blocks would make 8 blocks of dyed sand.

Some might say that I could use Concrete Powder. The thing is just that concrete powder turns into solid concrete when coming in contact with water. So colorful sand that doesn't turn solid because of water would make building beaches a lot easier, especially since it would allow black volcanic beaches.

    stephen gamache the thing with concrete powder is, that it turns into solid concrete when coming in contact with water. I would find it neat if we could do colorful beaches without the concrete powder turning into concrete.

    An alternative would be mixing concrete powder with charcoal to make the concrete powder hydrophobic, so it doesn't turn solid.

    I like the alternative idea, mixing with charcoal, better.  I think it would be weird to add a new colored block that looks the same as concrete powder, I think instead we should just make it waterproof.

    Waxed Concrete Powder that prevents it from turning solid upon contact.
