Moss blocks should let light pass through it

Moss blocks should look just the way they do but let light pass through them. This could allow for even better hidden lighting in grass and moss in general isn't a very dense plant. There could also be a feature in which light can only pass through a few moss blocks before being blocked out entirely to create interesting lighting.
