We need more copper ore

The main use I can see for copper currently in a build is decorative features of builds. However this needs a large quantity of copper or cut copper blocks. I prefer survival mode and I will have enough diamonds for a full armor and tool kit before I have enough copper for a roof on a small house. In fact I have more diamonds in my chests than copper *blocks*. In order for the oxidizing feature of copper to be fun in builds, copper needs to be MASSIVELY more available. Otherwise its just another creative mode block. It should not be easier to get diamonds than copper blocks. I was looking forward to this new ore... But its just too much effort for the limited reward.

    It'd be neat if there was a specific y-level to mine a bunch of copper at (kind of like how redstone spawns commonly around y=16). That way, it won't get in the way of people who won't want it, but people who want to build with it can find all the copper they need.

    I completely agree! I'm trying to build just an outline of a roof in a survival world, but I just can't find enough copper for an outline! We need more copper!
