Do you know the feel of opening an old world after a long time? Well, I think that Copper should be about that feeling.
Currently, the mineral ages with the hours played, but even now copper ages differently depending on whether their chunk is loaded, which does not represent the block’s age.
If Copper did age with Minecraft versions, precisely with major versions (1.16, 1.17, 1.18,...), if a completely rusted block is found, players will instantly know that the block has been there for ages, thus representing both the block and the world’s age.
