Hunger points could fill up shank by shank instead of instantly

When eating something, every hunger point the food can fill up will be instantly filled, but what if instead it quickly filled up shank by shank, kind of like the regeneration effect, but for hunger. This would be simply a visual change, as the actual hunger would be instantly filled I hope I was clear
