Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Burning trees with a flint and steel (fire in general) should drop charcoal.

This would make large clearings of jungle (that is ALWAYS a necessary pain) faster and returns some value... AND it makes logical sense. 

ALSO, leaves that burn should drop sapplings. In many species of trees that evolved to withstand regular forest fires, they have adapted to have seeds that regrow after forest fires.

    Yes, like pinecones. They explode when on fire, which is how they plant their seeds. :)

    I like this idea.

    The drop rates for charcoal should be:

    • 95% (any block made of wood)
    • 15% (any leaf block)
