Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Stair orientation assistance

Right now it can be very difficult to get stairs oriented the way you want them to be. I believe a simple way to make working with stair orientations would be if after you decided that the stair is facing upwards or downwards that you could right click the stair with a tool(ax for wood type stairs, pickaxe for all other types) and cycle through the various possible orientations for the stair like yo can currently toggle the state of redstone dust. Even if you remove the tool element, building with stairs in any moderate to high complexity design can be a real headache trying to figure out how to get the stair to face the way you want it to.

    In creative this can be done with the debug stick
