Moss Carpets should act like Snowy Layers

Having the mossy carpet act like snow layers would be much more useful for builds!

    I posted something similar going more in detail and I couldn't agree more They are just a reskin of the regular carpet which doesn't bring anything new to the table. There's nothing you can do with a moss carpet that couldn't be done with a green carpet

    ye, moss is not really something you would use as flooring of a build.

    I agree. Moss carpets can only be used for texturing atm (which is actually more useful than half the stuff theyve put in this update ngl,) but still it needs something more.

    Was working on a build and had this exact thought! It would really make the moss carpet distinct from lime/green wool carpet.

    Bonus: If Mojang adds this, then they wouldn't have to hear the builders complain about a lack of a grass slab! Everyone wins!

    Besides, if you get enough carpets, you'll get a whole moss block, which is probably more useful for some.

    it would be cool if moss carpet enveloped the top of the block its above like how snow covers the top of grass blocks.

    Yes you should be able to sink slightly into it, and layer it up into a block...

    I had the same idea to change moss carpet to moss layer. I would expect that each layer of moss would change how much light it let through. This would give control for shallow stairs, more flowing grass and better lighting control.
