copper tools & armor

my suggestion is to make iron spawn 64 blocks lower and need to be mined by a new tier, the copper one, and then to help you get to the layer with iron you could make copper armor, and now that iron would be rarer it could have a bigger durability, and then copper wouldn't be almost useless for non bulding porpouses and the progression of minecraft would be coller

  No. Not only would making iron rarer make it harder for redstone players who need stuff like large amounts of pistons, minecarts, and hoppers, copper armor has never been used as a tool or armor in history. Instead, we should add a new ore, tin, and make Bronze Armor that way. 

  It is a good thing that copper isn't made into gear. Not every piece of metal has to be made into one. I do agree that copper needs more usage, but this isn't it.

  i mean diamond was never used too, minecraft isn't a realistic game, i just think it'd be fun to make some copper tools & armor to go and explore down, and about the redstone, just iron is going to be rarer, and there would still be the iron farm
