Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

placeable dusts

The following dusts could be placed:

Sugar: phantoms won't fly over it (based on how salt repels evil in some cultures)

blaze powder: lights whatever steps on it on fire

coal: burns like a fuse, like single use, delayed redstone

gunpowder: like coal, except it makes small explosions, only a 1-2, maybe 3 block radius

glowstone dust: it glows. It's purpose is to mark your path as you traverse the caves.

    I like the proposed ideas for these. It opens up a lot of possibilities for decoration, trap making, lore, roleplaying, minigames, etc
