Here's a crazy idea... what if the devs separated pe from bedrock?
let me explain, you devs have 2 "up-to-date" versions of Minecraft (Java and Bedrock) what if you canceled cross-play between pe and console and then gave pe their own updates? This would be good for windows 10 players and console players... how would it be good? Well you'd no longer have to worry about updating bedrock edition with pe players in mind, the main drawback to bedrock is that you devs cant add a good update to bedrock edition (because of pe players) or else it wouldnt be fair to pe players. You could then get rid of bedrock have console version be called "Minecraft Console Edition" and have "Minecraft Pocket Edition". Oh and also give Java edition free to all windows 10 players and discontinue windows 10 for bedrock. If all this would be taken into effect there would be 3 versions of minecraft without the crossplay... Minecraft Console Edition (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch ect) Minecraft Pocket Edition (up-to-date phones, tablets ect) and Minecraft PC Edition (pc and windows 10). Idk how VR and Education Edition would work but you could probably put those into the PC version. yeah that sounded stupid but it would be cool, also the marketplace would be in console and pe versions
