Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A "tanzanite" block

Tanzanite is one of the rarest gems in existence: there is only one deposit in the world, in Tanzania. It has the ability to change color based on the direction you are looking at.
I am not specifically suggesting to insert actual tanzanite (as a type of crystal or mineral), but to add a block that emulates this particular behavior.
