1.17 Caves & Cliffs - Cave Mob Idea: Acid Maw

Acid Maws are a type of hostile plant that spits dangerous acid at any player that comes near with its gaping jaws. This acid is highly corrosive and will rapidly deplete your health when stepped in, so make sure to tread carefully. Acid Maws also have a melee attack which they'll use when in close proximity to a player, which is a quick snap from its deadly jaws. Acid Maws can spawn naturally in lush caves. Once defeated Acid Maws have a chance to drop slimeballs, vines, or even a potion of poison.

  Nice idea. minecraft has never really had any type of hostile plant before so this is really cool

  And also please make slimes shapeshift in to a slimy form of any mob it sees
