Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fine Sand

Fine sand responds to gravity, and when placed in a column the fine sand will fall outwards until the sand is even (like an hour glass). Needs to be carried in a bucket. You might find it in a desert in certain places on top of the sand, or you would have to make it (3 sand and an empty bucket on the crafting table, sand place horizontally).

As a block it can be half a block high (like a slab).

    Cool idea! Never seen this type of suggestion before and it sounds like a cool & unique block mechanic.
