In the caves & Cliffs update, add Ants and Ant hills/colonies that could have warrior ants and maybe a queen ant boss fight. The way you could find these ant colonies would be two ways, above ground: you follow a small party of ants to their colony. In Caves: look for a unique type of dirt/rock that looks cracked and messed up, then mine through anywhere between 2 to 6 blocks to enter the colony walls. You could add new Ant Shell armor, which could let you enter the colonies and not get bombarded with ants and warrior ants, a new ant mandible sword which would deal equal to an iron sword, but about the same amount of damage as a diamond sword to spiders and the damage of a stone sword to ants. This could add mobile threats into the caves that could maybe expand ever time unless you kill the queen. the queen could drop wings (that let you hover in the air to get over gaps for about ten seconds before needing to land, and can be repaired with ant shell), a ton of ant shell, and a helmet to allow you to feed up to four warrior ants to have as pets as long as the helmet is on/until the helmet breaks. the worker ants would be the size of ocolots, the warriors would be the size of spiders, and the queen would be the size of an elder guardian. maybe even add a couple types of ants, like ones that spit an acid at you for some damage, some that only spawn in jungles, and some that cause either fire damage or poison damage, to add a more diverse environment.
