Indeed, it wouldn't be beneficial, shall I drop the Android and openjdk parts off the list? I rearranged the post anyway. Besides emulation does the job for most devices. This leaves ARM Linux devices unsupported though.

It is possible to use the minecraft launcher with a chrome os device

To my understandings, it's not possible to run Minecraft either on a chrome OS ARM nor Linux ARM device. Windows ARM and Mac ARM emulation performance must be horrible. With the new lwjgl Mac OS x86 performance is also a lot faster and Vulkan enhances the other platforms as well.

I was talking about this myself. With the old Java launcher, Raspberry Pi users were able to login with a Mojang account and play as soon as the version they wanted was done downloading. The only thing preventing people from doing that right now is the fact that the accounts are being migrated to Microsoft accounts, and I suspect that this has been coming for a long time, probably since the rollout of the new launcher style back in 2016.

But in the event that Microsoft decides not to go through with any of this, I'll start talking 3rd-party launchers:

If you could integrate the ARM/aarch64 build of LWJGL into MultiMC and rebuild MultiMC for ARM/aarch64, you could probably get it working. While MultiMC is 3rd-party, it still requires auth, so it's still a legitimate launcher that requires purchase of the game. I mention this here because Microsoft might see it and want to fight the people who made the launcher. I don't condone taking them down, they aren't affecting the bottom line.

Yes please. There are already existing solutions to run Minecraft on ARM natively, so it should not be any problem for minecraft devs
